Students will be able to confidently describe their strengths, opportunities for growth, and professional interests. Students will complete a comparative analysis of their chosen professions (median income, cost of education, predicted growth) and a customized action plan which will capture their SMART goals for the next 9 weeks and the 2025-2026 school year.

Students will complete a comparative analysis of their chosen schools’ academic programs, class size, testing requirements, average GPA, acceptance rate, cost per year, student life, graduation rate, and more! Additionally, students will be able to explain how their chosen school(s) will support their career aspirations, explore the Common App, and share a first draft of their Personal Statement.

Students will craft professional emails requesting letters of recommendation and internship opportunities. Students will be able to express social media and interview best practices, create a resume, and develop their elevator-pitch.

This course is asynchronous and delivered via Google Classroom. Students should be prepared to invest an average of 5 hours per week to watch all videos and thoughtfully complete the accompanying assignments.
